The protocol is cheap, unmedical, and immediately effective: wear the lenses from sunset the day before the predicted full moon through sunrise the day after; switch indoor lighting to incandescent-spectrum (2700 K or lower) or red-filtered LED; keep unfiltered screens off or under maximum-warmth software for the same window.
This does not abolish the phenotype. It drops ipRGC drive below the temporal-integration threshold that ignites LTF-α and the adrenal bypass. Folklore recorded the closed shutter and the darkened room. It did not have a spectrophotometer. The cheapest intervention in the entire management addendum is a pair of amber glasses and the decision to use them on time.
